"Since taking Dating, Relationships, and Disability, I am now able to boldly and confidently put myself out there and am meeting nice, quality and respectful men. Now, I get to pick and determine if this is the type of quality man that I want in my life. Now I can't keep men away and I'm receiving a lot of attention from men, who actively approach and show interest in dating me."
-Gift Nleko, student of Dating, Relationships, and Disability
It can be pretty frustrating....
Dating and relationships are challenging in general. When you live with a disability, there can be many barriers to meeting the people you want in your life.
You may ask yourself:
I'm Kathy O'Connell and I live with cerebral palsy. While growing up, I had no examples of other people with disabilities dating, falling in love and having relationships. I began dating well into adulthood and it wasn't very fulfilling or successful.
I lacked confidence that others would find me attractive because of the way my body moves, the affect CP has on my speech, and because I am unable do many activities. However, I always longed to be in a happy relationship.
That desire kept driving me to work on myself and gain the self-esteem and confidence that I knew I needed to have a healthy relationship. At the same time, I was working as a Rehabilitation Counselor, helping others with disabilities in their dating and relationship pursuits.
I eventually came to a deeply rooted acceptance of my disability as something that enhanced who I was and would be a benefit to a relationship. This ignited both confidence and a sense of peace in me.
It was this confidence and peace that led to attracting my husband to me and creating the life I dreamt about for years.
> Feeling more at peace with yourself and your disability so that you're more comfortable going out and meeting people.
> Having the confidence in being comfortable with other's discomfort with your disability and pursuing a connection anyway.
> Recognizing more your worth and how much your disability adds to who you are and your relationships.
> Gaining clarity on the qualities you're looking to find in other people so that you enjoy more success in dating and relationships.
You are worthy of all the love you deserve!

How long do I have access to Dating, Relationships, and Disability: How to Have Confidence and Succeed?
Once you enroll, you'll have lifetime access to the videos and downloadable Take Action sheets.
What are the coaching calls like?
Within the first 60 days of the closing of enrollment, Kathy offers four coaching calls that are 90 minutes in length. The calls are group calls in which you can ask Kathy questions about the course material, any challenging areas, and how to implement the course material into your life in order to facilitate success. If you have a question or concern that you do not feel comfortable sharing in the group, you can always email the issue to Kathy and she will address it anonymously on the call. The calls are recorded and later emailed to all students.
How does the Private Facebook Group work?
Once you're enrolled in the course, you can request to join the private Confidently Dating with a Disability group on Facebook. Only current and past students of the course are allowed to join the group. It's a great way to ask Kathy questions and gain support from others taking the course. In the first 30 days of the course opening for enrollment, Kathy is in the group on a daily basis. Kathy will frequently post additional resources and material to help you gain success in dating and relationships.
How long are the videos?
Most are between 10 - 20 minutes.
How long are the Take Action sheets and what is the purpose of them?
They average 8 - 10 pages each. Every module in this course include a downloadable guide sheet to help you begin to implement insight into what is learned and begin making the changes you want to live more the life you want and have the relationships you want. This is done by asking a series of reflective questions about yourself, what you're struggling with, and what you're looking for in relationships. Each Take Action sheet has exercises and questions pertaining to the subject of that particular module.
How long will it take me to get through the course?
If you sat down and worked on the course straight through (which is not recommended so that you can let the course material absorb over time), it would take 12 -16 hours for Independent Study and 16 - 24 hours for the Premium Version.
I'm unsure if I can do all the material myself. What would you suggest?
If you believe you may need help processing the material, completing the Take Action guides, and/or participating in the Facebook group, it is recommended that you select a trusted friend or person that works with you to help you successfully complete the course.
I'm on a limited budget. Do you have a payment plan?
Yes, all plans come with the option of paying over a three month period.
Is there a refund policy?
Yes, you must request a refund within the first 30 days after purchase.
